After a five hour drive I found myself pulling into the most fantastic house and grounds. not even having the chance to unpack I was introduced to the fellow quilters. Before long we were hard at it designing our projects for the week and I look forward to posting pictures here to show you my progress. We have had a wonderful meal and now there is a drink and more cake for supper. I think I shall be going to bed soon so that I shall be up and ready to get going on my quilt in the morning.

My Activity Holiday at Gartmore House
Day 1 19th August 2013
After a five hour drive I found myself pulling into the most fantastic house and grounds. not even having the chance to unpack I was introduced to the fellow quilters. Before long we were hard at it designing our projects for the week and I look forward to posting pictures here to show you my progress. We have had a wonderful meal and now there is a drink and more cake for supper. I think I shall be going to bed soon so that I shall be up and ready to get going on my quilt in the morning.
